Yellowstone - in a day!
We don’t often visit places without our RV! This was the exception to the rule. Our friends were visiting the park and invited us to join them for a day of exploration. Since our home base is only 3.5 hrs away from Yellowstone - and we have not been there in years, we decided to take them up on their invitation. We had a great time staying at this little AirBNB. Our cabin was called “The Rail Station” in Old West Escapes and is located in Island Park.
The day was virtually perfect, except for a bit of rain at the end of the day. It was cool, cloudy and perfect for hiking around the park. The crowds were fairly minimal and we had not problems getting all parts of the park that we wanted to see. A great quick trip before heading back up to our property in North Idaho!
We absolutely love getting out there and meeting new people. We encourage all of our Mountain Beaches friends to shop small, shop local and to always be on the lookout to give a helping hand to those in need!
