Montana - Paradise!
We had a fantastic time visiting the state of Montana. Most of it was wonderful except for that pesky ER visit for Kim! We are sharing the fun places we stayed and exciting attractions that we explored!
This was the perfect quiet place to put our feet up, get a little work done, explore the area, and rush to the ER with a kidney stone! That experience caused us to really think about how prepared we are to handle an emergency. Do we know where the closest medical facility is? Do we have our medications on hand? How calm can we stay?
Lots to think about and learn in this type of situation! Beyond that - we had a fun time at Thompson Chain of Lakes State Park and would recommend this area. There are lots of first-come-first served campsites. We stayed over the Fourth of July holiday and there were empty campsites all weekend. Time to get out there and enjoy!
Our next short stop was Riverside Campground at Canyon Ferry Lake near Helena, MT. What a beautiful campground! We will be back for sure. Some of our followers and friends of Mountain Beaches invited us to stay at their home. We, honestly, were honored that they would trust us enough to invite us into their home!
We absolutely love getting out there and meeting new people. We encourage all of our Mountain Beaches friends to shop small, shop local and to always be on the lookout to give a helping hand to those in need!
