Disgusting campsites, Desert fun and more travel problems!
Are You Tired of the Deseret Yet?
We believe that the desert is the perfect place to camp in the winter and spring. You can chase the blues away with sunshine, warmth and fun! Is is perfect? No, but we don’t believe that there is any perfect place to camp all year long. You may have to deal with dirt, sandstorms, critters and come chilly nights. Yet, we would prefer to deal with these inconveniences rather than camp in the snow, sleet and slush! And, the sunsets are absolutely amazing!
We did deal with garbage in campsites, and a screw in our tire with a slow leak after leaving Lake Pleasant but that is just part of the journey. It’s your attitude when confronted with uncomfortable situations, not the situation itself that determines your happiness while out on the road!
We absolutely love getting out there and meeting new people. We encourage all of our Mountain Beaches friends to shop small, shop local and to always be on the lookout to give a helping hand to those in need!
